PRIVACY POLICY

Buzzingo Tech Experts (“Buzzingo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to our website at gobuzzingo.com and to the services we provide at our Kingwood, Texas location and remotely.
By using our website or our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information to us.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Contact and service information — your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you fill out our contact form, request an instant quote, book a repair, or contact us by phone, text, or email.
- Device information — make, model, serial number, IMEI, condition, and a description of the problem when you request a repair, quote, data recovery, or sell us a device.
- Access credentials you choose to share — device passcodes, PINs, account passwords, or unlock patterns that you voluntarily provide so that we can diagnose, repair, or recover data from your device.
- Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
- Identification for device purchases — where required by Texas law for the purchase of used electronic devices, we may record identification details of the seller.
- Business and network information — for managed services, network, server, and email clients: network diagrams, IP addressing, administrative credentials, and configuration data necessary to deliver the contracted service.
- Correspondence — the content of messages, reviews, and support requests you send us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device type
- Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, and exit pages
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5)
1.3 Information on Devices in Our Care
This is the most sensitive category of information we handle, and we treat it accordingly. When you leave a device with us for repair or data recovery, or when we access a system remotely, our technicians may be able to see files stored on that device — including photos, videos, documents, messages, contacts, browsing history, emails, and application data.
Our commitments:
- We access data on your device only to the extent necessary to diagnose the fault, complete the repair, verify that the repair worked, or perform the data recovery you requested.
- We do not read, copy, export, or share the content of your personal files for any other purpose.
- Data recovery work is performed on isolated systems. Recovered data is returned to you on media you approve, and our working copies are securely erased after you confirm receipt, or within 30 days of the completed job, whichever comes first — unless you ask us in writing to retain it longer.
- We do not create backups of your device content unless you have specifically requested a backup as part of the service.
- If, in the course of a repair, we discover material that we are legally required to report to law enforcement, we will do so as required by law.
1.4 Devices You Sell or Trade In
You are responsible for removing your personal data and disabling activation locks (such as Find My iPhone or Google Factory Reset Protection) before selling or trading in a device. When we take possession of a device for resale, we perform a factory reset and, where the storage medium supports it, a secure erase. However, we cannot guarantee that data you left on a device was unrecoverable prior to that reset. Back up and wipe your device first.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide quotes, schedule appointments, and perform repair, data recovery, network, and managed IT services
- To communicate with you about the status of your device, your order, or your service contract
- To process payments and issue invoices and receipts
- To honor warranty claims and maintain service history
- To respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests
- To send promotional offers and newsletters, where you have opted in
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and services
- To detect and prevent fraud, theft of devices, and abuse of our services
- To comply with legal obligations, including recordkeeping requirements applicable to used-device purchases
3. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising or direct marketing purposes.
4. When We Share Information
We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — payment processors, web hosting and website analytics providers, email and SMS delivery platforms, point-of-sale and ticketing systems, and remote support software vendors. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
- Parts suppliers and manufacturers — limited device information (such as model and serial number) where necessary to order parts or process a manufacturer warranty claim.
- Specialist data recovery partners — if a recovery requires cleanroom or specialist equipment we do not have in house, we will tell you before sending your media out, and the partner is bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — in response to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, property, or that of others.
- Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent — in any other case, only with your permission.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function, including session management and form security.
- Analytics cookies — we use website analytics to understand how visitors find and use our site, in aggregate. This helps us improve the site.
- Advertising and social media technologies — we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel and similar tools to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook account settings.
Do Not Track
Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. We do, however, honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable state law.
6. Calls, Texts, and Marketing Communications
If you give us your phone number, we may contact you by call or text message about your device, your repair, or your service request. If you opt in to marketing messages, you may receive promotional texts or emails; message and data rates may apply. You can stop marketing texts by replying STOP, and stop marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message. You cannot opt out of transactional messages about work in progress on your device while that work is ongoing.
7. How Long We Keep Information
- Customer and service records — retained for the duration of the warranty period and as long as necessary for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
- Device passcodes and credentials — deleted from our records once the job is complete and the device has been returned to you.
- Recovered data — securely erased as described in Section 1.3.
- Unclaimed devices — devices left with us and not collected are handled in accordance with our terms of service and applicable Texas law. Data on unclaimed devices is securely erased before disposal or resale.
- Website analytics data — retained according to the retention settings of the analytics platform we use.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information in our care: locked storage for customer devices, access controls and unique accounts for technicians, encrypted workstations, network segmentation for recovery systems, and secure disposal of storage media. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as passwords or full account numbers to us by unencrypted email.
9. Your Privacy Rights

- Correct inaccuracies in their personal data
- Delete personal data provided by or obtained about them
- Obtain a portable copy of personal data they provided to us
- Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects
We will respond to a verifiable request within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response or contacting us at the address in Section 13; we will respond to an appeal within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General.
9.2 California Residents
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither); and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
9.3 Other States
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. We extend the rights described above to all customers regardless of state of residence.
9.4 How to Exercise Your Rights

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
